Annie - Purity II 010

'Purity II' is the sequel set to Annie's 'Purity' set, which can be found in my gallery here.

The point of 'Purity' was to show Annie in her purest, most natural state, with an empty scene and even lighting providing no distractions, leaving Annie as the sole focus of the images.

With 'Purity II', I took this into account and decided to add a few props, while keeping the scene bright and clean. I opted to include a striking dash of red to contrast with Annie's complexion, while keeping the daybed and cushion white and unobtrusive. In post, I added effects to create a dreamy atmosphere and soften the edges to make each image delicate and smooth.

I spent a lot of time working with Annie's hair, in order to make it fall correctly. I also worked hard to keep each image tasteful, while maintaining a cheeky 'teasing' vibe.

Since 'Purity' was published, Annie has undergone many changes, from the slightest tweak of the soles of her feet to the considerable addition of strand-based body hair, which envelops her from top to bottom, with each area using unique materials to create a natural variation. Annie's skin, eye and mouth materials have also been overhauled, now making good use of subsurface scattering, blinn shaders, fresnel effects, raytraced reflections, displacement maps and reworked specular effects.

And so, I present to you Annie's 'Purity II' - a twelve-image showing of Annie's natural, healthy beauty and playfulness.
